Imge of One Shot Keto Review

As keto supplements continue to grow in popularity, more and more brands are emerging on the market. But with such a variety of options, how can you be sure you're picking the right one?

In this post, we'll review One Shot Keto, a popular choice for keto supplementation. We'll discuss what it is, its ingredients, and how it works, so you can decide if it's the right fit for you. Here we go.

What is it?

It is a supplement that is designed to support people on a keto diet, especially for those looking to lose weight. It has been specifically designed to help you get into a metabolic state called ketosis.

According to the brand, this product accelerates the body's ketosis process. This idea is based on studies that suggest that supplements can be used to increase the levels of ketones.

As claimed by the brand, the supplement utilizes BHB ketones to break the body's pattern of burning carbs for energy. Rather than using carbs (glucose) for energy, the body uses fat (ketones).

What is BHB?
BHB is short for Beta-hydroxybutyrate, and it's a ketone that your body produces when it's in a state of ketosis.

When you eat a low-carb diet, your body doesn't have enough glucose to use for energy, so it starts to break down fat for fuel instead. This process produces ketones, and BHB is one of them. Your liver also makes small amounts of BHB when you're fasting or exercising for long periods of time. BHB is a water-soluble molecule, so it can cross the blood-brain barrier and be used for energy by your brain cells.

It's also an energy source that muscle cells can use, which is why it's often taken as a performance-enhancing supplement by athletes and people who are trying to lose weight.

Ingredients in One Shot Keto pills

As per Walmart's website, these are the ingredients on the bottle's nutrition label:

  • Beta-Hydroxybutyrate (Calcium, Sodium, Magnesium), also known as BHB, is a ketone body that is produced by the liver in response to fasting or a low-carbohydrate diet. It can be used by cells for energy production in the absence of glucose. In this supplement, they are bound to calcium, sodium, and magnesium salt.
  • Rice flour, a type of flour made from ground rice commonly used in Asian cuisine. It has a finer texture than other types of flour, and it is also gluten-free. Rice flour can be made from either white or brown rice, and it can be used to make everything from noodles to cookies to supplements.
  • Silicon dioxide, a compound of silicon and oxygen. This is the most abundant compound in the Earth's crust. It is found in many rocks and minerals, as well as in sand. Silicon dioxide is used in a variety of products, including glass, building materials, and cosmetics. It is also a food additive.
  • Gelatin, a protein derived from collagen that is used in a variety of food and non-food products. It is commonly used as a gelling agent, thickener, and stabilizer.
  • Magnesium stearate, a salt of magnesium and stearic acid that is often used as a lubricant or flow agent in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. It can also be found in some dietary supplements.

Who makes this product?

The company that makes this supplement is known as Limitless X. According to online records, Limitless X Holdings Inc is a company that was incorporated in early 2020. Not much else is known about the company — there is limited information on the official website and there's very little information about the background of the company.

This lack of transparency is curious, particularly given that the company appears to be involved in a number of businesses ranging from healthcare to beauty products to selling earphones.

It's possible that Limitless X prefers to operate behind the scenes, but it's also possible that the company is deliberately keeping a low profile for some reason. Either way, it's clear that there are currently very few details available about this company online.

How does One Shot Keto work?

Before we can understand how this supplement works, we should first understand ketones.

When it comes to ketones, there are two types - endogenous and exogenous. The endogenous types are produced by the liver from fatty acids, while exogenous ones are made in a lab.

Endogenous ketones are a natural source of energy the body makes when the liver breaks down fat for fuel. These ketones are then released into the bloodstream and used by cells for energy.

The exogenous types, on the other hand, are made outside of the body in a laboratory setting. They're often taken as supplements, and they can provide the body with an extra source of energy.

In short, people take this supplement to increase ketones in the body, which is believed to facilitate ketosis. Research in this field is relatively limited, so it is not known for sure whether these types of supplements work in the same way as ketones made inside the body.

What is ketosis?

We are all familiar with the feeling of hunger. When we haven't eaten in a while, our stomachs start to growl and we feel irritable and lightheaded. This is our body's way of telling us that it needs fuel. In order to function, our cells need a constant supply of energy, which they get from glucose. Glucose is a sugar molecule that comes from the food we eat. Once it enters our bloodstream, it is transported to our cells where it can be used for energy.

Our bodies are very efficient at storing glucose in the form of glycogen. Glycogen is a long chain of glucose molecules that are stored in the liver and muscles. When our body needs energy, it can break down glycogen into glucose and use it for fuel. However, the body can only store so much glycogen. Once glycogen stores are depleted, our body has to find another source of energy. This is where ketosis comes in.

Ketosis is a metabolic state that occurs when there is not enough glucose available for energy. When this happens, our body breaks down stored fats into molecules called ketones and uses them for energy. Ketosis is often associated with low-carbohydrate diets, as it forces the body to burn fat for fuel instead of carbohydrates. However, ketosis can also occur during periods of fasting or starvation.

So how does ketosis work?

When there isn't enough glucose available for energy, our body starts to break down stored fats into ketones. These ketones are then used by the cells for energy. This process allows our body to continue functioning even when there isn't enough glucose available from food. Ketosis is a useful survival mechanism that helps us to survive when food is scarce.

This is why on a keto diet it is recommended to restrict your carb intake to 20 - 50 grams because once glycogen stores are replenished, the body will start using glucose for energy again and ketosis will come to an end.

Even though ketosis is an effective way to lose weight, the transition from using glucose as fuel to using ketones as fuel can take a while. Some may be able to achieve it quicker than others.

Therein lies the benefit of this supplement. Taking ketones externally is intended to assist you in entering ketosis as soon as possible. Research suggests that exogenous ketones do in fact boost the body’s ability to reach ketosis.1

So if you are on a keto diet and struggling to reach or maintain the state of ketosis, supplements may be able to help.

How to use One Shot Keto

According to the label, the correct dosage is to take two capsules each day, one in the morning and one in the evening after dinner.

One bottle of this product will provide you with enough capsules for a month's supply. Since the product is offered in the form of capsules, it shouldn't be too difficult to include it in your routine.

Capsules should only be taken according to the instructions on the product or as directed by your physician.

These pills are intended to be used as an addition to a low-carb keto diet.

Benefits of One Shot Keto

Based on the claims on the bottle, you may be able to achieve the following benefits after taking this supplement.

While the exact mechanism of how these benefits are achieved isn't explained by the company, here we try to explain how exogenous ketones in general might provide you with the purported benefits based on current evidence.

Achieve ketosis faster

Exogenous ketones may help the body achieve ketosis by supplying the body with an alternative source of fuel. As you know, when carbohydrate intake is low, the body will turn to stored fat for energy, hence entering the state of ketosis. However, achieving ketosis can take several days or even weeks. Supplements can provide the body with a source of external ketones that, in theory, may be able to help to accelerate the process of ketosis.

Boost focus and clarity

Early research suggests that exogenous ketones may help to boost focus and mental clarity in neurological conditions, although the exact mechanisms are not yet fully understood.2 One theory is that they may help to increase levels of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter involved in attention and learning.

Additionally, exogenous ketones may help to improve blood flow and oxygenation to the brain, which can also enhance cognitive function. However, more research is needed to confirm these effects.

Based on One Shot Keto reviews and complaints published by people who have used this product, here are some possible side effects:

Keto flu

The reason why exogenous ketones can lead to keto flu is that they can disrupt electrolyte balance. When you’re in ketosis, your body is already losing electrolytes through urine. Taking exogenous ketones can further deplete your electrolytes and lead to imbalances.

To prevent this, be sure to drink plenty of fluids and eat foods rich in electrolytes like salty foods and bone broth. You should also talk to your doctor before taking exogenous ketones if you have any medical conditions or are taking medication.

When exogenous ketones are metabolized, they produce carbon dioxide and water. The carbon dioxide is then expelled through the lungs, and the water is excreted through the urine. However, some of the water may also be retained in the body, leading to bloating.

In addition, exogenous ketones can also cause the stomach to produce more acid, leading to an increase in gas and bloating.3

While the exact mechanism is not fully understood, it is thought that the body produces more of the hormone vasopressin in response to exogenous ketones, which leads to increased water retention.

When you take this type of supplement, your body is signaled to produce more ketones. This increased production can lead to a buildup of ketones in your blood, which can cause headaches.

In addition, when your body breaks down ketones for energy, it produces a by-product called acetone. Acetone is a volatile compound that can easily evaporate and enter the bloodstream, where it can cause headaches. Therefore, taking exogenous ketones can lead to headaches by both increasing ketone production and causing acetone to enter the bloodstream.4

However, it is important to note that not everyone experiences headaches with this type of product. Some people may only experience mild headaches, while others may not experience any at all. If you do experience headaches after taking exogenous ketones, try reducing your dose or discontinuing use altogether.

How long does it take to work?

Most people start to experience the benefits of exogenous ketone supplements within the first week or two of use. However, it may take longer for some people to feel the full effects.

This is generally due to individual differences in body composition, age, gender, and metabolism. In the end, it may take some trial and error in order to determine how long it takes for you specifically.

Is One Shot Keto safe?

The short answer is that we don't really know. The FDA does not review dietary supplements for safety, so there is no regulated manufacturing process or quality control in place.

Additionally, the long-term safety of taking this supplement is not known. There have been reports of side effects including constipation, bloating, and headache.

So while the product claims to help you reach ketosis faster and potentially lose weight, the long-term safety of this product is unknown. If you are considering taking this supplement, be sure to speak with your healthcare provider first.

Rather than taking pills, a safe bet to enter ketosis naturally is to follow a healthy low-carb diet and add a good exercise plan.

Is One Shot Keto legitimate?

When it comes to supplements, there are always going to be questions about their legitimacy. After all, anyone can create a supplement and put it on the market. This makes it hard to know if a supplement is effective or not.

So, when it comes to whether One Shot Keto actually works, it's hard to say anything definitive. There is very little information available on the company that makes this product, so it's difficult to know if they are reputable or not. Without knowing more about the company and its manufacturing process, we can't determine whether this supplement is legitimate.

This emphasizes the point that you should be cautious when considering taking this or any other supplement. As with anything you put in your body, it's always best to do your research and consult with a healthcare professional before taking anything new.

Customer complaints

There have been many complaints about this product reported online. Some people have experienced side effects such as headaches, nausea, and digestive issues.

Additionally, many people feel that the promises made by the company are false; they state that the pill will produce results within one week, but many users report seeing no difference after several weeks of use.

Moreover, many reported that the pills were very expensive, costing between $69 and $79 a month.

How much is One Shot Keto?

As per the information available on Walmart, one bottle of this supplement costs $17.98 and contains 60 capsules. However, it is important to note that this product is sold at varying prices.

For example, on the official website of the company, it is available for $69, and on another website, its listed price is $79.

These differences in prices can make the buying experience confusing for the consumer. So it is best to err on the side of caution before buying this product.

Can you get your money back?

According to the information on the official Limitless website, the customer can request a full refund within 30 days following the date of order if they are not satisfied with the product for any reason.

In theory, your order will be refunded in full minus a 20% restocking fee if it has already been shipped. All shipping charges associated with returning the goods after obtaining a refund will be your responsibility.

Even though the company does offer a refund policy, it is unclear how easy it is to avail and what percentage of people are successful in getting a refund.

Is it worth buying?

This supplement promises to help you reach ketosis faster. However, there is very little information available about the company or the safety of the product. As a result, it is best to be cautious before taking this or any other weight loss supplement.

There have been no clinical studies conducted on the effectiveness of the product. Therefore, it is impossible to say whether or not it is safe or effective. Some of its reported side effects are upset stomach, headaches, and dizziness.

Before considering taking supplements, it is important to speak with a healthcare provider to ensure that it is right for you.

No, you don't need a prescription to buy it. However, before you buy this product or any other exogenous ketone supplements over the counter, keep in mind that supplements are not regulated by the FDA. It is important to do your research and make sure you are buying a quality product from a reputable company whose claims are supported by evidence.

This product can be bought on websites like Amazon, and Walmart. Although there are many other websites that offer this product, the pricing may vary, so do your research and make sure you are buying from a trustworthy source.

Yes, from the reviews available online, many people reported experiencing side effects such as bloating, nausea, dizziness, and constipation. The side effects may vary from person to person, so ensure you speak with your physician before taking this supplement.

In terms of similar products, there are many alternatives, such as Pharmalite XS, Keto Trim, and Purely Optimal Keto BHB. The important thing is to do thorough research on each of these products and speak to your doctor before making a purchase.

So, what’s the verdict? Is it worth a try?

Overall, it seems that One Shot Keto is a fairly popular product on the market, but there isn’t much information available about it.

Due to the lack of information about the company and the different prices of the product, it appears untrustworthy. Additionally, because this product has not been approved by the FDA, it is hard to say anything about its safety.

For these reasons, we recommend exercising caution when buying this product and talking to your physician before purchasing any exogenous supplements.
