There are all sorts of keto supplements on the market nowadays. Some companies have a better track record than others, so it’s a good idea to do some research before you consider making a purchase.

In this article, we’ll be reviewing Perfect Origins Keto XO.

What is Keto XO?

This product is a type of exogenous ketone supplement available in pill form.

How does it work?

If you are familiar with the keto diet, you may know that when the body is low on carbohydrates and sugar, the liver naturally breaks down fats to produce ketone bodies for energy.

These are called endogenous ketones because they are made inside the body (endo means inside, internal). One of the main goals of the ketogenic diet is to keep intake of carbs low enough so that the body enters the metabolic state of ketosis and burns fat to make ketones.

Exogenous ketones, on the other hand, are made outside the body, in a laboratory (exo means outside, external). Taking exogenous ketone supplements is a quick and easy way to get more ketones in your body1.

The types of exogenous ketones used in Keto XO are ketone salts, which are made by combining the ketone body called beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) with electrolytes, such as sodium, calcium, or magnesium2.

What’s so great about ketones? Why would you want them in your body?

Using ketones for fuel may provide a number of benefits for the body and brain. These possible benefits include increased satiety (feeling full), more consistent energy levels (avoiding blood sugar peaks and valleys by improving insulin sensitivity), and boosted brain function3-6.

Theoretically, the idea behind taking exogenous ketones is that they can help you achieve ketosis faster. There are studies that suggest this is possible7, which is why these types of supplements have become so popular.

However, it’s important to keep in mind that this is a relatively new field of study. The scientific research on the effects of taking exogenous ketones is limited and not fully conclusive at this time.

FAQs

Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions related to Keto XO reviews.

Dietary supplements, including exogenous ketones, are not evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness. To determine if a specific product is safe for you, consult with your doctor. They will have important insights, including the particulars of your individual situation, such as your electrolyte levels and whether you are taking any medication that might interact with this product.

This type of supplement is not intended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

This product is not intended for children or minors.

Any person considering taking this or any dietary supplement should first consult with their doctor. This is especially true for anyone who has a medical condition or is taking medication.

This product is meant to be used in combination with a healthy ketogenic diet. Just taking the pills without the addition of positive lifestyle changes is unlikely to give you many health benefits.

One bottle containing 60 pills (a 30-day supply) costs 27 USD. The price per bottle decreases if you buy more than one at a time.

Verdict

This product contains BHB (beta-hydroxybutyrate), which some studies suggest may help people achieve ketosis faster.

However, because the formula used is a proprietary blend, the quantity of each type of BHB in this product is unknown.

There are very few Keto XO reviews by real users published online, so even anecdotal evidence about the efficacy of the product is very limited. It may be preferable to look for more established and reputable brands of similar products, although they may be more expensive.
